Meditation leads to calm and mental resilience. But meditation is often perceived as something that require a lot of effort and special conditions. Yet – we know that even while moving – you can practice the same 'muscles' of paying attention to the present moment, to sensations in your body, your breath and noticing thoughts that come and go. For many people it is the most easy 'entry point' in the mindfulness meditation practice. Sitting down for them is too overwhelming.

Take any activity you are doing on a regular basis (unloading a dishwasher, folding laundry, walking to the train station, picking up toys after your kids) and turn it into your moment of care and kindness, attention and awareness. Drop any expectations of feeling or being in a certain way. But believe that with every little timy moment of this kind of practice, you are layering foundation for your long term mental health.
