Practice Episode: How To Process Emotions And Not Spiral?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This is The Practice I do most often. When an emotion overwhelms me, when I feel like I am about to explode and say something I might regret later. When I feel sad, anxious. This practice does not solve my problems. But it creates a new set point (a wiser state for me) to respond.
As women – we are emotional human beings. We have a lot to deal with at work, at home. We are caretakers and aspiring professionals. We also have those hormones that , yes, can also shape our emotional landscape. So what do we do? How do we avoid spiralling and making things worse, for us and for those around us?
Please join me here. Practice and learn what we do and how it works.
It does.
